Lisa’s Bake Shop is a family run business in Spirit Lake, Iowa owned by local entrepreneur Lisa Roslansky. Lisa’s daughter, Gina Damm, and Lisa’s niece, Kendra Roslansky are among those currently employed at Lisa’s Bake Shop. (With help from time to time, of course, from the next generation including Lisa’s grandson and her nieces and nephews.)
Lisa is a native Sioux Valley, MN resident. She moved to Spirit Lake in 2006 while working at Okoboji Wine and Lobster Company. When OWLC closed their doors, Lisa decided it was time to make a change. She built a kitchen in her home and had it certified so she could make and bake goods to sell at the local area Farmer’s Market. What began as Lisa’s Lil’ Bake Shop in the market blossomed into Lisa’s Bake Shop on Highway 71 in Spirit Lake, where they have been since January 2014.
